The Valkyries girls lacrosse team took time to recognize and celebrate the East Lansing and Bath seniors prior to their matchup, honoring the athletes who have helped shape the program through their leadership and dedication. Following the senior recognition, the Valkyries battled throughout the game before ultimately falling 17–5. Several players contributed to the scoring effort. Viv Hagen of Lansing Catholic led the way offensively with two goals and one assist, providing a strong performance for the Valkyries attack. Laila Martin added one goal, while Sophie Johnson of Bath and Regan Adams of East Lansing each contributed one goal as well. Maggie Crowe of East Lansing also added one assist during the contest. While the result did not go their way, the day served as an important moment to recognize the seniors from East Lansing and Bath who have helped build the Valkyries program through their commitment and effort.
