West Catholic took the opening game 7-1, but the Cougars responded with a strong performance in the second game to earn a 5-1 victory and salvage the split. Lansing Catholic’s offense saw key contributions from several players across the two games. Noah Jungwirth led the way at the plate, finishing 3-for-6 with two doubles and an RBI, consistently putting pressure on the West Catholic pitching staff. Jason Boldman also delivered offensively, going 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI, helping spark the Cougar offense in the second game. After dropping the opener, Lansing Catholic regrouped and showed resilience in game two, controlling the game and securing the win to close out the day.
