The Valkyries girls varsity lacrosse team celebrated senior night Tuesday with a memorable 14–11 victory over Okemos, honoring seniors from both Lansing Catholic and Lansing Christian. Before the game, the program recognized five seniors who have helped lead and shape the Valkyries program. Senior Honorees Elle Chee Cara McDonald Gabby Schultz Zoe Meyer (Lansing Catholic) Marin Kaiser (Lansing Catholic) The Valkyries offense produced a balanced scoring attack throughout the night. Offensive Leaders Viv Hagen (Lansing Catholic) led the offense with four goals and two assists, while Laila Martin (East Lansing) added three goals and two assists. Senior Marin Kaiser (Lansing Catholic) contributed two goals and an assist on her senior night, and Regan Adams (East Lansing) matched that output with two goals and an assist. Additional scoring came from Mia Armstrong (East Lansing) with one goal and one assist, Cara McDonald (Lansing Catholic) with one goal, and Miley Greene (East Lansing) with one goal. Defensive Effort Defensively, Katelyn Melling (Lansing Catholic) played a key role in the win, recording 12 saves in goal to help secure the Valkyries victory.
