Lansing Catholic Baseball Improves to 11–0 with Two Wins

The baseball team from Lansing Catholic High School continued its undefeated start to the season with victories over Ovid-Elsie High School (16–6) and Lakewood High School (4–2). With the two wins, the Cougars improve to 11–0 on the season, continuing a strong stretch of play on both offense and defense. Elijah Jungwirth led the offense, going 3-for-5 at the plate with a double and his fourth home run of the season, driving in three runs and scoring four times. Ethan Link had a productive day as well, finishing 5-for-8 with two runs scored, two RBI, and four stolen bases, helping keep pressure on opposing defenses. Jason Boldman added four hits in six at-bats, including two doubles, along with three runs scored and two RBI. Chase Moreno delivered a strong performance both offensively and on the mound. He went 4-for-5 with four RBI and two runs scored, and also earned the Game 2 win as the starting pitcher. Watson Ferreri contributed with three hits, three runs scored, and three stolen bases, continuing the Cougars’ aggressive approach on the basepaths.
