Former Lansing Catholic High School golfer Julia Sambaer (C'25) made program history while competing for Albion College at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women’s Golf Championship. Sambaer finished 7th overall in the conference tournament and recorded a 73 during the event, which ranks as the second-lowest round in Albion women’s golf history. Her strong performance helped highlight a competitive championship field and marked another milestone in her collegiate career. Sambaer continues to build on the success she established during her time at Lansing Catholic, representing the Cougars at the next level.
