The girls tennis team from Lansing Catholic High School delivered an impressive performance Tuesday evening, defeating regional opponent Lansing Christian School 8–0 at home. The Cougars controlled the match from the opening serve, earning victories across both singles and doubles flights to secure the shutout win. One of the most encouraging moments of the night came from Leila Eyde, who recorded her first victory of the season after returning from injury, marking an important step in her return to competition. Another highlight came from Tessa Topham, who fought through one of the most dramatic matches of the evening. After splitting the first two sets 7–5 and 3–6, Topham found herself trailing 1–6 in the deciding third-set tiebreaker. She rallied back with determination to win the tiebreak 13–11, sealing an exciting comeback victory.
