The Valkyries varsity girls lacrosse team delivered a strong performance, defeating Holt 15–6 in a matchup played at East Lansing. The Valkyries offense was led by Laila Martin, who recorded six goals and two assists to pace the attack. Mia Armstrong added three goals and one assist, while Marisa Fortina contributed two goals. Lansing Catholic athletes also played a key role in the victory. Cara McDonald finished with one goal and two assists, while Viv Hagen and Kate Whiting each added a goal. Marin Kaiser recorded an assist to help support the offensive effort. Sophie Johnson added a goal and an assist for the Valkyries. In goal, Katelyn Melling anchored the defense with five saves as the Valkyries limited Holt’s scoring opportunities. The balanced scoring and strong defensive play helped secure a decisive win as the Valkyries continue their season.
