Former Lansing Catholic standout Anna Richards continues to make an impact at the collegiate level, earning D3hoops.com All-Region Third Team honors for the 2025–26 season. Richards, now a sophomore guard at Hope College, was one of just 15 players selected in Region 7 for the prestigious recognition from D3hoops.com. Her performance helped lead the Flying Dutch to a 26–4 overall record, an MIAA Tournament Championship, and a run to the third round of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship. Richards averaged 12.3 points per game, leading Hope in scoring while contributing across the stat sheet. She finished the season with 49 steals, 170 rebounds, and 70 assists, demonstrating her versatility and leadership on the court. One of her biggest moments came in the MIAA Tournament Championship game, where Richards scored a career-high 24 points to help secure the title for the Flying Dutch. In addition to the All-Region selection, she was also named All-MIAA First Team, recognizing her as one of the top players in the conference. Richards continues to represent Cougar Nation at the next level with excellence both on and off the court.
