Kai Mishler (Jr.) ended an impressive Junior campaign with a fourth place finish at the State Championship tournament hosted at Ford Field. Mishler started the day with a loss to Division 3, 175 lb State Runner-Up, Max Sundquist of Kingsford. Mishler followed that tough loss up with an impressive run of four straight victories, with his final opponent being Rysten Williams of Allegan. Although Mishler lost that final match, it is a big step up from last years State Finals appearance, where he failed to win a single match. With his only two losses this year being to the 2nd and 3rd place finishers in his division and class, it is safe to say Mishler made significant strides this year.
