Tonight, Lansing Catholic proudly hosted our 5th Annual Cheer for Charity, raising funds for the Capital Area Down Syndrome Association (CADSA). This event holds a special place in our hearts. In November 2022, our gymnastics coach, Tamara McKenzie, welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Elliott, who was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. Elliott is the inspiration behind this meet and the reason CADSA was chosen as our charity partner. In addition to supporting a meaningful cause, we celebrated our seniors one final time at their last home meet. The team delivered a strong performance and earned 2nd place in their division. A great night in every way.
