The Lansing Catholic girls basketball program delivered a confident and complete performance at home in CAAC White action against Sexton, setting the tone early and maintaining it across both levels. At the varsity level, the Cougars played with purpose on both ends of the floor, combining disciplined defense with efficient offense. Lauren LaCross anchored the defensive effort, disrupting passing lanes and setting the standard with her intensity, while Talia Franco led the way offensively, consistently creating opportunities and keeping pressure on the Sexton defense. The balanced approach reflected the team’s preparation and commitment to playing together. The junior varsity squad mirrored that same energy, controlling the game from the opening tip and showcasing strong fundamentals, ball movement, and defensive awareness. Their performance highlighted the program’s depth and the development happening at every level. As CAAC White competition continues, the Cougars continue to show growth on the court. 📸 Photo credits: TCP Photography
