Lansing Catholic bowling wrapped up its final match before Christmas break with a matchup against Olivet at Char-Lanes. Olivet’s depth on the boys side proved challenging, as the varsity Cougars fell 28–2. Josh Carlin and Nico Sinicropi accounted for Lansing Catholic’s points, with Carlin rolling the high game for the Cougars at 179. The Lady Cougars competed shorthanded with just four bowlers and battled throughout the match. Despite a 20–10 loss, the team claimed the second Baker game and Baker totals. Brooklyn Gorski and Louisa Blackledge each earned two points, and Gorski posted the team’s high game with a 150. The JV Cougars also faced a tough outing, falling 28–2. Tony Gallegos scored both JV points and recorded the high game with a 133. The night also featured personal milestones, with Louisa Blackledge setting a new PR of 132 and Tony Gallegos posting two PRs, first with a 120 and then improving to 133.
