Cougars Sweep the Night with Wins at All Three Levels

It was a complete team night for Lansing Catholic basketball as all three levels picked up victories, highlighted by a strong varsity performance against Olivet. The varsity Cougars earned a 63–53 win, controlling the game with balanced scoring and physical play on both ends of the floor. Seth Hahnenberg led the way with a double-double, finishing with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Zach Snitgen added 11 points and six rebounds, while Jacob Payne chipped in nine points. Gary Tackett scored seven, Leland Van Alstine added six, and Joey Reid contributed five to round out the scoring. The JV and Freshman Cougars had tightly contested matches, with JV winning 52-47 over Olivet, and the freshman edged out Ovid-Elsie 47–46. Bishop Villarreal paced the team with 16 points, followed closely by Joe Tennes with 15. Daniel Otten added six points as the Cougars held on late to secure the win. It was an impressive showing across the program, with contributions coming from up and down the roster. The Cougars continue to build momentum as the season moves forward.
