The Cougars turned in a strong all-around effort in their latest home matchup against the Lakewood Vikings, highlighted by tight finishes and standout individual performances. In varsity boys action, Nico Sinicropi and Quinn Lum secured points in regular games, with the team also splitting the second baker. The Cougars came close to taking two additional regular games and both baker games outright, ultimately falling 25–5 but showing steady progress across the lineup. The JV boys delivered a competitive outing as well. Grant Card, Andrew Krause, and Tony Gallegos each earned points, and the team captured the first baker game on the way to a 23–7 final. The Lady Cougars put together one of the day’s strongest performances despite having just four bowlers. Izzy Horvath and Brooklyn Gorski earned key points in regular games, and the team swept both baker games in an impressive display of consistency and focus. High-scoring honors went to Brooklyn Gorski, who rolled a 199, and Quinn Lum, who posted a 181 to lead the boys’ side.
