Lake Central High School

The girls' golf team traveled to Sandy Pines Golf Club on Monday for the Kankakee Valley Invitational. Sixteen teams competed and Lake Central finished 2nd overall in the field with a 351. The Munster Mustangs were the overall champions with a 343 team score. Allie Huppenthal led LC with a 78. Piper Urbanski fired an 89. Victoria Schilling shot a 91, and Alex Schilling shot a 93. Maya Parks rounded out the Indians line-up with a 98. The Indians are back in action today at Lafayette (results below) and will host the LC Girls' Golf Invitational tomorrow. It featured teams from all over. LC finished in 4th place in the 18 team field. The Indians fired a 330 just one stroke behind Brownsburg, who finished third. Zionsville and Westfield finished 1st and 2nd respectively. Allie Huppenthal led LC with a 78. Victoria Schilling fired an 82; Piper Urbanski an 84; Alex Schilling an 86; and Maya Parks an 89.
