The gymnastics team took down the Chesterton Trojans on the road last night by a huge margin. Gabby Robbins led the team with a 5th place finish on vault, 2nd on bars, 4th on beam, and1st on floor (season high 9.6). Robbins was 2nd place in the all around. Kailynn Paat placed 3rd on vault, bars, floor and all around, and 6th on beam. Gabi Arroyo led the team on the balance beam and placed 2nd. She also placed 4th on bars. Marina Negrete posted season high scores and finished 4th in vault, floor, and all around; she was 5th on bars and 3rd on beam. Sonya Gomez placed 5th on bars and all around. Janna Kendall posted the teams highest vault score and placed 2nd. She also placed 5th on beam and floor and 1st place on bars for JV. Emily Bishop placed 6th on vault and floor for Varsity and 1st on beam for JV. The girls have one more home meet next Wednesday against LaPorte. This will be a teacher appreciation night meet.
