The article is linked above. Below is some additional information about the outstanding feat. Congratulations ladies! Congratulations to the Lake Central Cheer teams for their outstanding performances at the Indiana State Cheer Championships, which took place at the famous New Castle Fieldhouse. The Fieldhouse is the largest high school gym in the country seating nearly 9,000 fans. The Varsity Cheer team earned a State Championship in the Large Time-out Division and State Runner Up in the Varsity A Division. The were runner up by just 1/10 of a point to Fort Wayne Carroll. JV Cheer - 4th Place Freshman Cheer - 2nd Place Additionally, Congratulations to Varsity cheerleaders Maddy Biggerstaff, Autumn Garcia, and Peyton Morris for being named to the Indiana All-State Cheer Team. This was a great weekend for the Lake Central Cheer program, as they continue to build momentum for Nationals.
