Lake Central High School

The Northwest Indiana Times released in 2024 Girls' Soccer All-Area Team this morning. Three Lady Indians were All-Area recipients: Goalkeeper Olivia Pelot and Midfielder Leah Rocha earned 1st team honors. Pelot pitched 9 shutouts on the season and Rocha led LC with 11 goals. Both will play collegiate soccer next year: Pelot will attend Purdue Northwest and Rocha will attend Chicago State. Defensive player Malia Silvers earned a 2nd team All-Area recognition. She will attend Clarke University to play soccer. Liana Navarro was honorable mention Much congratulations to all!
