Lake Central High School

The Duneland Athletic Conference released the annual All-Conference team today. The boys and girls had a combined 6 runners out of the 24 total selected (12 boys/12 girls). This was a reward of both teams being crowned DAC Champs. Macey Thompson earned the Most Valuable Runner spot for the girls: She was joined on the team by Lana Bruggeman, Chloe Neal, and Aubrey Neal. Bruggeman and Chloe Neal joined Thompson on the podium at the State Finals. The boys added two runners to this year's team: Ben Perschon and Kristofer Garner. Perschon just missed the podium at the State Finals finishing in 32nd. He was second in the conference meet. Garner finished 4th in the DAC meet. Full Press Release is Attached.
