Lake Central High School

Lake Central girls' golf coach was just named the Region 1 Coach of the Year by the Indiana High School Golf Coaches Association. Coach Gurnak helped lead our girls' program to an undefeated regular season and an outright DAC Championship. The girls finished 14-0 in conference play and all 5 starters were named to the All-DAC team. The Lake Central golfers earned both team Sectional and Regional Championships, and they're currently playing in Carmel preparing for the State Finals at Prairie View Golf Course tomorrow and Saturday. Coach Gurnak is one of 8 coaches in the state to earn this honor.
