Lake Central High School

Much congratulations are in order for our gymnastics team as they qualified for the IHSAA State Finals for the 6th consecutive year. For this feat to occur, Lake Central had to overcome a deficit they faced much of the meet. The Indians were in 6th of 6 as a team after one rotation. Then, a fantastic balance beam series moved the Indians into 4th position. The Indians moved to the floor and climbed to 3rd position. Lake Central held a 1/10th point lead moving to the final rotation. It was here they extended their lead and finished with a season high point total. All of the gymnasts deserve mention. Alyssa Flores 9th vault/10th floor Gabrielle Robbins 10th bars Kailynn Paat 13th bars/7th beam/9th floor Alyssa Flores and Amanda Todd both finished in the top 15 of the All-Around.
