Kankakee Valley High School

The boys golf team had a strong finish at the midwestern classic on Saturday finishing 13th out of 18 teams in a strong field. Leading the way was junior Drew Jonkman firing a 79. Drew finished strong making birdies on four of his last six holes. Austin Van Loon wasn't far behind shooting an 81 making birdie on his 17th hole the difficult par 3 eighth hole. Owen Lubotina birdied the par 5 seventh hole on his way to and 86 and Luke Zander birdied his final hole finishing with an 87. Carson Armstrong rounded out the scoring with a 101.
