It was a chilly night at Wicker Park but the boys golf team came away victorious with a score of 164 to Highland's 190. Leading the way was Luke Zander with a round of 40. Right behind were Drew Jonkman and Carson Armstrong both with rounds of 41. Owen Lubotina and Austin Van Loon rounded out the scoring with 42 and 45 respectively. JV also took on Highland and posted another victory with a score of 179 to Highland's 238. Leading the way on JV was freshman Jackson Hooker with a 42. Reese Glaser followed that up with 44 and Isaac Deardorff 46. Rounding out JV scoring was Jaidyn Anderson 47 and Cole Armstrong 49. Other scores for the night were Brayden Hanewich 45 Ayden Lewis 46 and Sebastian Nuss 54. The boys will be back in action Wednesday night traveling to Palmira to take on Hanover Central.
