Saturday - April 8th, 2023 Game 1 Even though Jeffersonville collected eight hits to Columbus North's six, they still fell 7-2 on Saturday. Logan Bingham started the game for the Red Devils on the mound. Bingham went four and a third innings, allowing four runs on two hits, striking out six and walking one. Quinn Lemon threw one and two-thirds innings in relief. Kyle Campbell and Jaden Hart led Jeff at the plate. Both collected two hits Game 2 The Red Devils took a late lead and defeated Columbus North by a score of 4-2. The game was tied at 2 in the top of the seventh when Jeff put two on the board led by Caiden White's RBI single. White also pitched five innings, allowing one hit and zero runs and striking out six. The Red Devils turned the game over to freshman Cole Singleton, who pitched two innings allowing two runs on two hits, while striking out one and walking zero. Singleton moves to 2-0 on the season. The Jeffersonville Red Devils return to action on Thursday, April 13 when they host the Seymour Owls. Game is scheduled for a 6pm start at Don Poole Field.
