On November 14th, the Jeffersonville Lady Red Devils defeated the Providence Pioneers for the 37th year on a row! The Lady Red Devils had a slow start, the Pioneers were up at the end of the first quarter 11-6. The Lady Devils answered in the second quarter and out scored the Pioneers 19-5. Going into half time your Lady Red Devils led 25-16. To start the second half, the Pioneers picked up the intensity, despite Senior Lakyra Johnson going down with an injury, the Lady Devils were able to hold the lead ending the third quarter 35-27. The Lady Red Devils pulled away in the fourth quarter by outscoring the Providence Pioneers 16-11, ending the game with a 51-38 victory! Seniors Elle Marble and Lakyra Johnson both had a double double! Marble had 12 points and 10 rebounds while Johnson had 15 points and 12 rebounds. Senior LaQaya Gold also hitting double digits by scoring 10 points for the Devils.
