Jeffersonville High School is celebrating two standout athletes who have officially committed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Seniors Kelis Dansby and Joel Ramirez signed their letters of intent this week, marking the next chapter of their impressive journeys. Kelis Dansby, a key contributor to the Red Devils’ basketball program, will take her talent to the University of Louisiana–Lafayette, where she will join the Ragin’ Cajuns women’s basketball team. Known for her leadership, versatility, and strong presence on both ends of the court, Dansby will leave behind a legacy of hard work and determination. Coaches praised her relentless energy and commitment, qualities they believe will translate seamlessly to the collegiate game. On the volleyball court, Joel Ramirez has been a driving force for Jeffersonville, anchoring the team with his leadership, precision, and passion for the sport. Ramirez has signed with Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, where he will continue his volleyball career with the Pomeroys. His growth over the past four years has been a testament to his dedication, earning him recognition as one of the region’s most dynamic players. Jeffersonville High School celebrates both athletes for their achievements and looks forward to watching them succeed at the next level. Their signings reflect not only personal accomplishment but also the strength of the school’s athletic tradition.
