The Varsity Lady Red Devils defeated the North Harrison Cougars in their season opener last night 2-1. Hannah Magruder scored both Red Devil goals unassisted in the first half. Magruder's first goal was her 50th Career Goal at JHS. Several Lady Red Devils had standout performances including Arie Sheckles, Graycie Spaulding, Jovie Golko, and Scarlett McRae. North Harrison's lone goal came from a penalty kick after a handball in the box. The Lady Red Devils return to action next Tuesday (8/22) at Jennings Co with varsity and junior varsity matches.
