The Red Devils hoped out fast to claim the first set of the match, before Charlestown dominated the net and deflated everything the Red Devils had in the next two sets. Just when it looked like the Red Devils were done for, done 7 in the fourth set, they came roaring back thanks to timely, aggressive, and clutch serving to steal set four 30-28. The Red Devils pounced early in set five and jumped out to a big lead, but the Pirates were not finished coming back from four dow to tie the match, several ties and lead changes pushed the deciding frame beyond the 15 cap, but Jeff reeled off some big serves down the line to win the deciding set 18-16.
