Indianapolis Shortridge

The Shortridge cross-country teams opened the 2023-24 season at the Mississinewa Invite on 8/19. Leading the charge for the girls' squad was Freshman Bella Groothuis, placing 13th in a time of 25:27, followed closely by Freshman Celia Jarzen (25:59) and Senior Xin Yi Ni (26:04), in 15th and 16th, respectively. The boys' squad followed, led by Freshman Elias Flora in 13th with a time of 19:56, Sophmore Syrus Smith in 29:19 and Senior Gavin Jackson in 32:00.
