The Hopkins County Central cross country team came in sixth place at Saturday’s Class 2A Region 1 meet, just missing a qualifying spot by five points. Sophomore Landon Posey, who has battled some health issues during the season. showed he is nearing a return to form as he finished in sixth place with a time of 17:39.
