Central tennis team took on Madisonville North Hopkins at Storm tennis courts. The Maroons came away with victories in the girls by the socre of 5-4 and in the boys it was 9-0. Winning for the girls were Elissa Adams over Addyson Raymer 8-1; Callie Mackey vs Albany Ray 8-6; Lilly Armour against Cleo Tirey 8-2. In double, the team of Addison Rickard and Lilly Armour defeated Emma Tagg and Paige Brummer by score of 9-8. Even though the boys lost Jagger Bryum in both singles and doubles along with Cohl Hoard in doubles gave a good match against the Maroons. Jagger Bryum lost iin single by the score of 4-6 and 1-6 while Jagger and Cohl lost in doubles by the score of 5-7;6-2 and 10-5. Other matches were competive but the Maroons were able to get the match point and go ahead and win the games. The next match for both teams will be on Monday, April 14th as Henderson Co comes to Hopkins Co Central Storm Courts.
