The Highland Varsity Trojans came out swinging and never backed down, building a commanding 7-run lead in the fifth inning and holding off a late charge to secure a hard-fought 7-5 victory over Hobart on Wednesday. Leading the way was Samantha Zurlis, who dominated in the circle by going the distance, allowing just six hits and five runs while racking up an incredible 15 strikeouts. It was a complete team win—strong offense early, clutch defense late, and a standout performance in the circle to seal it.
