Highland girls placed 4th at Sectionals scoring 296 points. Highlights include: 200 Medley Relay of Kaitlin Smith, Dylana Plant, Eva Nordyke and Izzy Popovich broke their own team record with a 2nd place finish of 1:50.27. 200 IM: Emily Smith placed 7th with a 2:20.15, and Eva Nordyke finished second with a 2:05.78 which made the state cut by 2 seconds! 50 Free: Kenadie Kowal placed 7th Diving: Morgan Mosley placed 2nd and qualified for Regionals on Tuesday! Morgan Slosser placed 6th. 100 Fly: Dylana Plant placed 7th 100 Free: Kaitlin Smith placed 5th 200 Free Relay of Eva Nordyke, Izzy Popovich, Kaitlin Smith, and Kenadie Kowal placed 2nd. 100 Back: Kaitlin Smith placed 6th 100 Breast: Eva Nordyke is the sectional champion, and she broke her own team record with a 1:05.28, qualifying for the state meet! Emily Smith placed 4th and Dylana Plant finished in 5th. 400 Free Relay of Kenadie Kowal, Amelia Sines, Dylana Plant, and Emily Smith placed 5th. Regionals for diving is Tuesday at Mishawaka, and State Finals are Friday and Saturday in Indy.
