This past Tuesday (10/20) we hosted our second meet of the season. God blessed us with amazing weather and a huge turnout for the event. We hosted 13 high school teams, 11 middle school teams and 2 elementary teams which made up over 200 runners on our course. With spectators included we had approximately 500 people on our campus which was our largest XC meet ever……WOW! The evening was filled with great community and amazing running; our Eagles didn’t disappoint. Up first was the middle school and our girls team continued their dominance with three top 10 finishes; Jeena Thwaites (15:22) finished in 3rd, Chloe Karakula (15:43) finished in 5th and Hollyn Karakula (16:25) finished in 7th. Next was the high school race all our runner ran very well. Top performer was Seth Crown (18:41) running his course record and finishing in 6th place and a special shout out to Jordan Bishop (24:30 SR) and Drake Bartell (32:15 SR) for running their best race of the season. The grand finale was the elementary Eaglet race (1.45 mile) which was the last race of the season for our elementary run club. Almost every single runner ran their best race of the season and improved their finish time on our course. Top performers for the girls were Savannah Allison (12:18 PR), Ayla Miller (12:42 PR) and Adaline Eldersveld (13:36 PR). Top performers for boys were Asher Stiverson (12:22 PR), Judah Curtiss (12:37) and Eli Wessing (12:39 PR). To God be the glory!! GO EAGLES!!!!
