On Saturday our high school and middle school teams were at the MASSIVE Portage Invitational. Throughout the day over 6,000 runners and 15,000 spectators come to this meet. Each HS race was 200 runners, and each MS race was 450 runners and our Eagles did an amazing job. Up first were the HS boys and they all ran very well, congratulations to Nathaneal Karakula (18:41 PR) on this race! Up next was the HS girls and they also ran well, congratulations to Becca Sempert (31:59 PR) for working hard an earning a personal record! Later that morning was the 2,500m middle school races and they all crushed it! Notable performances by Brady Cole (10:44 PR), Daniel Thwaites (11:04 PR), Jeena Thwaites (11:50 PR) and Chloe Karakula (12:09 PR) made for fun and exciting races. A special shout out to Morgan Cole for being selfless during the race and assisting another runner who was injured. To God be the glory!! GO EAGLES!!!
