On Friday the High School XC team was at the George Dales Invite hosted by WMU. This is a unique event that allows HS runners to compete on the same course as collegiate runners. It was a beautiful day and the course was flat and fast and our Eagles did an AMAZING job. Up first were the boys and they lead by example; Nathaneal Karakula (19:10 SR), Seth Crown (19.33 SR) and Alex Hammond (25:31 PR). Up next were the girls and they ran really well; Eva Cavanaugh (34:38 PR) and Becca Sempert (34:36) missed a PR by 10 seconds! A special shoutout to Alex Hammond on this PR run. He took over 2:30 off his previous best time, way to go Alex!!!! To God be the glory! GO EAGLES!!
