The Raiders traveled to No. 2 ranked Zionsville for a tough battle on Wednesday night. Zionsville struck first with a 6-0, 6-0 win at 3 singles, but the Raiders quickly answered as Emerson Mohr earned a 6-4, 6-2 victory at 2 singles. Both doubles matches were more competitive than the scores showed, ending 6-2, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-0 in Zionsville’s favor. The final match of the night went to sophomore Zan Young at 1 singles, who secured a hard-fought three-set win, 6-1, 3-6, 6-2, to give the Raiders their second point. The team now turns its attention to Saturday’s Macy Invitational in Crawfordsville.
