Alex Michel opened the scoring for the Raiders off a free kick less than 10 minutes into this sectional semifinal against the Mavs. The Mavs equalized right before halftime. Ivan Gutierrez recorded his 15th assist of the season when he spotted Bennett McRoberts on the back post for a header goal to put the Raiders in front 2-1 with under 20 minutes to play. Once again, the Mavs showed resiliency by netting a PK with under 10 to play and evened the score 2-2. The Raiders would need 2 OT periods before they collected the huge victory in this rivalry matchup. Alex Michel passed to Joey Scheumann who once again scored a game winner and put a laser top shelf right corner to seal the victory for the Raiders. The Raiders moved to 15-2-1 on the season and advance to the sectional championship versus Lafayette Jeff.
