This game went back and forth from the start. It was physical. Most of the game was played between the boxes with few chances for either team. It had the feel that 1 goal could do it for either team to send them to a State Title game. Finally, mid-second half, Adan Robles got into the penalty box, was able to create off the dribble, beating two defenders, drawing the GK to the near post, and served up a beautiful pass to Octavio Chavez just outside the 6. Octavio slammed the pass home and rattled the back of the net to give the Raiders a 1-0 lead! That is all the Raiders would need in this one. The Raider defense was relentless, and Marshall Crowell turned away all 3 shots on goal by SB Adams. The Raiders moved to 18-1-3 on the year and return to the State Championship game!
