On Saturday the Hanover Horton Middle School Cross Country teams competed at the Hudson Booster Invitational. This is a large meet for us with 42 schools competing at the middle school level. It was perfect weather and the course ran fast this weekend. Out of our 14 athletes competing, 11 ran their fastest times of the season. Of those 11, 10 ran the fastest they've ever ran. The boys team finished 18th with Austin Toteff finishing 5th overall with a new personal best of 11:41.4! He was followed by Nolan Miller in 90th, Axis Jakubas, 127th, Santos Dinius, 188th, and Oliver Cook, 196th. Landon LeBlanc and Oliver Pearson also set their personal bests. The Girls team took 17th place with Emery Day leading with a 15:25.9 for 85th. Allison Dorian, 100th, Sydnee Meade, 101st, Dakota Curtis, 115th, and Jane Alleger, 153rd, rounded out the point scorers for the girls. Macie Winter also set her personal best. Overall the meet went great and we are excited with the results. We have 3 meets left in our season and are hoping to improve in each one. The next is October 19th at Ella Sharp Park. --Coach Heath
