Hanover-Horton Athletics

Last night the Hanover-Horton Middle School Cross Country team competed at the Hillsdale Invitational at Owens Memorial Park. It was extremely hot but the team performed well! Austin Toteff was our sole medalist finishing the 1.5 mile course 2nd in 8:46. He was followed by Axis Jakubas at 35th and Nolan Liechty in 47th. For the girls team, Harper Blanton led the team finishing 12th with a time of 12:42. Emery Day and Jane Alleger round out the top 3 finishing 13th and 16th. Overall the teams did well for their first meet, in spite of the heat. We competed again next Thursday at our Meckley’s Invitational. Thank you, Coach Heath
