Hanover Central High School

The boys track team made the short trip to Illiana Christian for the Illiana Invite. On a long, cold night, the team placed second overall. Scoring in the sprints were: Rocco Lopez, 3rd in the 200 with a personal best; Kendall Ingram in the 200; David Murphy 1st in the 400; AAron Wilson 5th in both the 110 and 300 meter hurdles. The 4x200 relay of Kendall ingram, Jacob Ferko, Connor Dixon, and Jack Connor placed 3rd. The 4x400 relay team of Jerome Murphy, Joey johnson, Connor Dixon, and Jack Connor placed 4th. In the distance events, the 4x800 team of Jerome Murphy, Logan Sus, Bennett Duffy and Chris Epting placed 2nd, with Bennett Duffy running a personal best split time. Chase Fajman and Chris Epting placed 2nd and 5th respectively, in the 800. Ryan Sandberg and Logan Sus placed 3rd and 7th in the 1600. Noah Hernandez and Bennett Duffy placed 3rd and 5th in the 3200. Noah ran a personal best time. In the field events, Evan Marsiglio placed 5th in the long jump. Logan Zellon placed 6th in the shot put. Lincoln Zerby won the discus event, and AJ Noel placed 2nd in the pole vault. The team will travel to Hobart on Tuesday, for it's second NCC Championship Meet.
