For the first time, the boys track team sent runners to three events at the Lafayette Jeff Sprinters Showcase. David Murphy started the night off battling a strong headwind to run a 51.82 in the 400. This time was just short of his personal best. That time was good enough for 9th out of the thirty-one competitors. The 4x100 team of Dominic Giglio, Connor Dixon, Ben Alvarado and David Murphy ran a time of 44.18, which is close to their record of 43.75. Rocco Lopez finished the evening by equaling his personal best time and earning a medal for 4th place in the 110 meter hurdles.
