Hanover Splits Doubleheader with Chesterton Junior Varsity vs Chesterton Senior High School Game 1 (Chesterton wins 6-0) Game 2 (HC wins 14-8) The Wildcats dropped game 1 against a solid Chesterton team. The boys bounced back in game two winning 14-8. In game 1 Beau Wiancek pitched 3 efficient innings. He struck out 4 and gave up just 1 run. In game two Cai Jaquess was on the mound. Jaquess gave up just 1 earned run in 6 innings. He gave up 4 hits and struck out 4 hitters. Luke Kopec closed the game out for the Wildcats. Lukas Valiska, Owen Stromquist, and Eddie Mendoza all had multi hit games. Stromquist had 3 rbis in the game. The Wildcats had 9 stolen bases in game 2.
