Hanover Central High School

In their 2nd year in the NCC, the boys moved up from their 4th place finish last year and made some waves. Ryan Sandberg led the pack, finishing in 3rd place with a 16:37, followed closely by Chase Fajman in 6th place with a 16:56 finish. Both Ryan and Chase earned 1st team All-Conference honors. Noah Hernandez made 2nd team All-Conference by finishing 19th in 18:21. The remainder of the top 7 came charging through the chute within :17 of each other: Langdon Oldenburg (21) 18:26, Braden Flood (23) 18:34, Bennett Duffy (25) 18:38, and Grant Zuzich (27) 18:43. Caleb Cornett also had a big day as he ran a PR of 19:13 in his first conference appearance. The team will have a two-week hiatus before they tackle Sectionals on October 19.
