The Hanover Central Lady Wildcats continued their outstanding postseason run on Tuesday night, defeating the Griffith Panthers 5-0 to claim the 2026 IHSAA Class 3A Regional Championship. The Wildcats delivered a complete team performance, combining strong pitching, solid defense, and timely hitting to secure the regional title and earn their place among the final eight teams in Class 3A. With the victory, Hanover Central advances to the IHSAA Class 3A Semi-State on Saturday, June 6. The Lady Wildcats will face Logansport in the opening game of the semi-state at 10:00 a.m. CST (11:00 a.m. EST).
