Griffith High School and the Griffith Athletic Department are honored to announce the following information: our own Mr. Brian Jennings has been selected as an inductee to the Indiana High School Baseball Hall of Fame by the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association. Brian Jennings enters the hall of fame after coaching at Griffith High School for 27 seasons and racking up 448 wins. The Griffith Panthers baseball program brought home 14 sectional championships, four conference championships and was the head coach for the 2001 team that played for the state championship. During his tenure, Brian Jennings was the “Conference Coach of the Year” four times and was named “District Coach of the Year” once. 40 student-athletes have gone on to play at the collegiate level and four of his student-athletes have gone on to play professional baseball. Please join us as we congratulate Mr. Brian Jennings on this incredible and much-deserved accomplishment. We appreciate your hard work and your dedication to our school, the Griffith baseball community, your players, and the students at Griffith High School. Your message that little eyes are watching helped develop a first-class program.
