By Parker Hecht The Griffith Panthers took home the win during the first round of sectionals against the Boone Grove Wolves on October 7. The Panthers and Wolves played a close game that ended in relegation as a tie, but the Panthers won the shootout. Josh Lukas, Jake Zielke, Brady Coddington, and Manny Balderas scored for Griffith in the shootout. Goalie Connor Steele secured the victory with two penalty kicks saves and ended the game with an astounding 12 saves.
