By Parker Hecht The Panthers’ Girls Soccer team trounced the River Forest Ingots 12-0 in the first round of Soccer Sectionals October 8. Miriam Avalos, Audrina Huizar and Mallory Stordeur led the pack with two goals a piece. Layla Zuazua and Nadia Mehisen also contributed. The Panthers move on to face the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors during the Sectional semi-finals October 10 at Illiana Christian.
