By Parker Hecht In an all-out cat fight, the Griffith Panthers beat the Gary West Side Cougars on October 3 in fabulous fashion. Everything went the Panthers’ way as they beat the Cougars 3-0 in a dominant performance. Saniya Harper led the team with eight kills and four digs. She also gave the team their only block of the night. Michaela Rossi had seven aces at the line, along with five other players. Robin Edwards was the Griffith Player of the Game. She had a night to remember with three aces and four kills. She was a great spirit to have on the team and a leader on this incredibly young team. The win brought Griffith’s record up to 7-13 on the season.
